1. Scope

This policy applies to pivotscale.ai and related website forms, scheduling links, marketing communications, and online services that link to this policy. “PivotScale,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Oakpine Pivot Partners LLC.

Our website and services are intended strictly for businesses and their authorized representatives. They are not directed to consumers or children.

This policy does not govern information we process for a client while delivering consulting or development services. That work is governed by the client’s separate proposal, agreement, or data-processing terms.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect your name, work email, company, team size, scheduling details, marketing preferences, and the information you include in an inquiry. If you become a client, we may also receive proposal, billing, transaction, and business-contact information.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, we and our providers may collect IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, pages viewed, interaction events, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie or device identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs.

Information from other business sources

We may receive business contact, scheduling, referral, campaign, or account information from a CRM, scheduling service, advertising platform, professional network, referral partner, or another integration you use to contact us.

Leak Score: answers entered into the Leak Score are stored in your browser so the tool can work. The tool does not ask for an email address. We do not receive those answers unless you separately choose to send or discuss them with us.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, schedule calls, assess fit, and prepare proposals;
  • provide, support, secure, and improve our website and business operations;
  • manage customer and prospect relationships;
  • measure site performance, campaign attribution, and marketing effectiveness;
  • send requested updates, newsletters, or other business marketing, subject to applicable law and your choices;
  • process payments and maintain transaction records when applicable; and
  • detect misuse, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect our rights and those of others.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We may use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, security, conversion measurement, and business advertising. These technologies may be provided by services such as Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, or Google advertising tools.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define disclosures used for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising as “sharing” or a “sale” even when no money changes hands. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described below, and we honor legally required browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when we can associate the signal with the browser or device.

You can also restrict cookies through your browser. Blocking some storage may affect site features. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose the categories described above to providers that help us operate, including website hosting and security providers, content-management services, email delivery services, analytics providers, CRMs, scheduling platforms, advertising and marketing platforms, payment processors, and professional advisers. Current site infrastructure includes Vercel, Sanity, and Resend.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect PivotScale, our clients, or others; in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or at your direction. Providers may use information only under their own terms and our arrangements with them.

We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Retention and security

We generally retain website inquiries and prospect contact information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. We may retain information longer when you become a client, request continued communication, or when it is reasonably necessary for contracts, accounting, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. Analytics, advertising, payment, and platform records may follow the provider’s settings and applicable retention requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers the interaction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, a legally defined sale or sharing of personal information, or certain profiling, and to receive equal service after exercising a right.

To submit a request or appeal a decision on a prior request, email hello@pivotscale.ai. Tell us the right you want to exercise and provide enough information to locate the relevant records. We may verify your identity or authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

If a Texas privacy appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General. California residents may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or California Attorney General about applicable rights.

8. Other provisions

Third-party services

Our site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

International processing

PivotScale is based in Texas. Our providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
